LPGA GIRLS CLUB OF DALLAS:

LPGA-USGA Girls Golf  (Girls Golf) provides an opportunity for girls, ages 7 to 17, to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships, and experience competition in a fun, supportive environment preparing them for a lifetime of enjoyment with the game.  The only national initiative of its kind, Girls Golf is administered through a partnership between The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Foundation and the United States Golf Association (USGA), both non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.

The lead Professional and Site Director is Mary Lou Daniel Crocker, a 39 year member of The Tounament Division of the LPGA and a former Tour winner, and under her supervision has developed this program into the largest in the country with well over a hundred girls participating.  For additional information concerning this program go to www.ggcod.com or call at 972-245-8895.

JUNIOR LEAGUE OF NORTH TEXAS GOLF CENTER:

The North Texas Golf Center and The Golf Institue sponsor a Junior League for ages 7 - 15.

There are two sessions held - one in the Fall (beginning in September) and one in the  Spring (beginning in February) which plays for Twelve (12) weeks each Saturday at 10:00 am.

The purpose of the League is for junior players to play on a regular basis under semi-tournmanet conditions to hone their skills and prepare to play in other more formal tournament events or just to improve their quality of play.  Our goal is to develop juniors by allowing them to play and through these experiences, learn the proper Etiquette, Rules, and Sportsmanship that is the very heart of the game of golf.  To qualify for the league, a junior must be able to consistently and reasonably hit the ball, have a reasonable knowledge of the rules, etiquette, how to score, the importance of "speed of play" and be able to play the course without assistance.
